Brief
Directions by Road
The
M3 and onto the M27 signposted Portsmouth and exit at Junction 5
signposted Eastleigh. Rather confusingly you will see the stadium to
your left but continue on as there is no left turn into Stoneham Lane
from this direction. When you reach a roundabout go back on your self
as if to the M27 again and when you reach the Concorde Club on your
left turn right into Stoneham Lane for the ground.
Car
Parking
There
is a good sized car park at the ground which holds 500 cars, which is
free.
Directions
by Train and Plane.
The
closest station to the stadium is Southampton Airport Parkway, which
about a 20 minute walk to the ground. Southampton Airport
Parkway station is served by trains from London Waterloo. South West
Trains are offering a brilliant special offer on their trains at the
moment check check here for a train from Waterloo – Eastleigh for
£15.00 return and £7.00 for kids. http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/
From
Eastleigh Bus Station you can catch the Blue Star No.2 service
towards Southampton City Centre, which passes near to the stadium.
Southampton
Airport is very close and will accept private jets by appointment.
Supporters
Coach
The
supporters coach will leave the Hive at 10 am with earlier pick up
points at Potters Bar Station, Barnet (3 separate places), Whetstone
and Edgware starting at 9 am. The price is £23.00 return.
Eating
and Drinking Locally
The
Supporters Bar at the ground is called the Spitfire and away fans are
made welcome. Another option is the Concorde Club Stoneham
Lane, Eastleigh SO50 9HQ just
north of the ground. Otherwise the Cricketers on Chestnut Avenue is
the only other watering hole close by.

Works.
Ground
Description
The
stadium has a capacity of around 4,500 with 2,600 seats and has had a
major facelift in the last 18 months.
The
Grandstand holds 370 and sits astride the half way line. Opposite is
the covered East Terrace which runs the full length of the pitch.
Behind the North Goal is another area of covered terracing which is

Meetings and Memories
We
have only ever played Eastleigh once and that was earlier this season
when a on loan Sam “Bob” Hoskins goal was enough in a 1-0 win.

Eastleigh
is the home of the hit record! Comedian Benny Hill lived and worked
here and his early job as a Milkman inspired his Number 1 hit record
in 1970 “Ernie”. Someone who I actually met during my days in a
Music Publisher was Heinz Burt, bass player in the group the
Tornadoes who had a Number 1 hit with “Telstar” in 1962 He also
had a top 10 hit with “Just Like Eddie” in 1963.

The Wetherspoons pub in Eastleigh is the Wagon Works not the Wagon Wheel.
